北风卷地白草折，胡天八月即飞雪。

忽如一夜春风来，千树万树梨花开。

散入珠帘湿罗幕，狐裘不暖锦衾薄。

赏析 “掣”字说明风很大，好象在用力牵、用力拽红旗一样，—在这里，风被拟人化了。但红旗已经被冰雪冻住了，不能再翻卷了。把雪之大、天气之寒冷，写得很形象、很生动。可以从"红"体现白雪皑皑，可以从"不翻"体现。

将军角弓不得控，都护铁衣冷难着。

瀚海阑干百丈冰，愁云惨淡万里凝。

中军置酒饮归客，胡琴琵琶与羌笛。

纷纷暮雪下辕门，风掣红旗冻不翻。

轮台东门送君去，去时雪满天山路。

山回路转不见君，雪上空留马行处。

岑参（718年？－769年？），荆州江陵（今湖北江陵县）人或南阳棘阳（今河南南阳市）人，唐代诗人，与高适并称“高岑”。岑参工诗，长于七言歌行。

CEN Shen（718?－769?），a native of Jiangling，Jingzhou (present-day Jiangling，风掣红旗冻不翻的意思，Hubei Province)，otherwise a native of Jiyang，Nanyang (present-day Nanyang，Henan Province). He was a poet in the Tang dynasty. Gaoshi (also a poet) and Cen have been known as “Gao & Cen”. Cen was good at writing poems，especially seven-syllabic chantstrolls (gexing)，a style of ancient Chinese poems.（陈蕾译）

Cogon grass snaps as wind whirs from the north;

In the eighth moon in Hun’s land there flies snow.

It seems a spring wind has sudd’nly come forth;

On thousands of pear trees pear blossoms blow.

The petals touch the blinds and wet them whole;

The troops’ furs are not warm，their quilts so thin.

The general’s horned bow is hard to control;

The governor’s mail feels cold，out and in.

On the vast deserts ice and floe combine;

For miles and miles above gloomy clouds stay.

In the commander’s tent travelers drink wine;

Hun fiddles and lutes and Qiang flutes they play.

Out of camp gates there flutters the dusk snow.

The sough sways the flags which are frozen still.

At Bugur’s East Gate I bid you adieu.

From Mt. Heaven all snow does the road fill.

The road turns and bends，you’re not in sight。

Only the prints of horseshoes on snow white.

“风掣红旗冻不翻”，冻结在空中的鲜艳旗帜，在白雪中显得绚丽。旗帜在寒风中毫不动摇、威武不屈的形象是将士的象征。与“纷纷暮雪下辕门”这与句对比，一动一静，一白一红，相互映衬，画面生动，色彩鲜明。描写了对友人惜。

辕门：军营的门。古代军队扎营，用车环围，出入处以两车车辕相向竖立，状如门。这里指帅衙署的外门。风掣（ch）：红旗因雪而冻结，风都吹不动了。掣：拉，扯。冻不翻：旗被风往一个方向吹，给人以冻住之感。翻译。
